3. BANDIDO HAIR TONIC: A
LITTLE BARBERSHOP FEELING
AT HOME
For a smaller grooming gift, I've
put Bandido Hair Tonic on the list.
There's something about the
finishing touches of a haircut that
people enjoy: the styling, the
fragrance and that feeling when
you get out of the chair ready for
the rest of your day.
A hair tonic is a way to bring
a little of that routine home. Pair
it with a comb and you've got a
simple stocking filler for someone
who enjoys taking a bit of time
over their grooming.
Just check which version you're
buying and follow its directions. A
styling or grooming tonic shouldn't be confused with a treatment
for hair loss.
Hims offers an online service connecting men with licensed
healthcare professionals who can assess their needs and, where
appropriate, recommend personalised hair-loss treatment
options.
This is the more personal entry on my Christmas list. It's
something to explore for yourself, or support someone with
if they've already said they're interested. I wouldn't surprise
someone with hair-loss treatment under the tree.
Treatment suitability needs professional assessment, and
results vary. But feeling able to ask questions about your hair is
a good place to start.
5. DUMO'S GLADIATOR FRAGRANCE RANGE:
FOR A STATEMENT GIFT
4. HIMS: A MORE PERSONAL CONVERSATION ABOUT HAIR
I recently worked on a shoot with Hims, so I wanted to
include the brand here and be open about that connection.
Hair loss is something that comes up in the barber's chair.
Sometimes people ask directly. Sometimes they make a joke
about it first. Either way, it can be a personal subject.
For the fragrance lover, my final pick is Dumo's gladiatorinspired range.
The presentation makes this feel like a statement gift, and the
gladiator theme is right up my street. Anyone who knows my
taste in films probably won't be surprised by that.
Fragrance is personal, though. If you can, try a sample or find
out the sort of scents the person already wears before choosing
a bottle.
The best Christmas presents usually show that you've paid
attention. Whether that's the product someone uses every
morning, a fragrance they've been talking about or a book for a
child who loves being creative.
And if you're still stuck, there's always a haircut.
Just book it before Christmas Eve, please!
