YOU HAVE RECENTLY BECOME
A GRANDFATHER, HOW ARE YOU
TAKING TO YOUR NEW ROLE?
My grandson Bohdi has been one
of the greatest gifts bestowed to
me in my life. My love for him is
immeasurable. His very existence
is one of the greatest incentives
to continue my own for as long as
possible.
Brian Cox and the late and great
Robin Williams.
WHAT'S THE BEST ADVICE YOU
HAVE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
My father once told me that to
achieve my goals and ambitions
in life, I must be prepared to open
a few doors in life. Not to be
arrogant, conceated or unempathetic
toward others but to be to be as
confident and bold as possible when
opportunities arise. Open those doors
he said. Sadly, it didn’t help my father,
he got sucked out of an aeroplane!
WHAT'S THE MOST
EMBARRASSING THING THAT HAS
EVER HAPPENED TO YOU?!
On the way to my first day at the
Eastenders' studio, I was so nervous, I
had a little toilet accident on route, so
the first thing I had to do when I arrived,
was to run to my dressing room and
change my underpants.
WHO WOULD PLAY YOU IN THE
MOVIE VERSION OF YOUR LIFE?
Sir Anthony Hopkins as he's my
favourite actor!
WHO WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL
CELEBRITY DINNER PARTY
GUESTS?
Sir David Attenborough, Professor
WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE
GROWING UP?
When I was asked by my family what
I wanted to be when I grew up I told
them I wanted to be a comedian they all
laughed! Well, they're not laughing now
are they?!
IF YOU HAD TO TAKE 3 THINGS TO
A DESERT ISLAND, WHAT WOULD
THEY BE?
A photograph of my three daughters
and my grandson Bohdi.
A CD of Gilbert O'Sullivan's greatest
hits. And to make sure the island didn't
belong to Jeffrey Epstein.
WHAT'S YOUR BIGGEST FASHION
FAUX PAS?
My mankini and matching flip flops!
BEST CHARACTER TRAIT?
Forgiveness, empathy for others and a
wicked sense of humour.
WORST HABIT!?
Biting my nails!
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL
SATURDAY NIGHT OUT OR
SUNDAY DAY IN?
Saturday night... Watching a Gilbert
O’Sullivan concert or cuddled up on
a sofa watching a movie with any of
my daughters.
Sunday...spending the day with my
family and playing with my grandson
Bohdi or watching Tottenham
Hotspur beating Arsenal on the telly
COYS!
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE
FUTURE?
Living for as long as possible
obviously.
To keep healthy enough to continue
performing.
To find a woman who would want to
share their life with me, who would
love me unabashed, who would put up
with all my little imperfections and be
truly happy with what I have to offer
them. I've got more chance of being
handcuffed to a ghost!
