‘Spider-Man’ not only secured Zendaya as a serious, global
movie star, it was here she met her boyfriend (now hubby!), the
talented Brit actor Tom Holland, who plays ‘Spider-Man.’
Rumours of romance were quick to circle around Hollywood
following the pair’s blatant on-screen chemistry and all the offscreen time the duo spent together.
Although for almost 5 years, Zendaya and Holland denied
anything was going on. They are both “extremely private
characters” and did not want to “doom the relationship” were
cited as reasons for keeping their relationship hidden from the
public by the duo.
The news of their official ‘coupling’ didn’t come until February
2022 when they were pictured holding hands at the premiere of
Holland’s film ‘Unchartered’.
WEDDING BELLS
Earlier this year, rumours that Tom Holland and Zendaya had
secretly got married spread across social media like wildfire, with AIgenerated wedding photos racking up millions of likes and leaving
some fans unsure whether they were real or not!
However, Holland confirmed the couple tied the knot in an
exclusive magazine interview this June. Speaking to Esquire
magazine, he revealed that his grandmother saw the fake wedding
photos and thought she had missed the big day!
When asked whether he had to reassure any other family
members, Holland replied: “No, because they were all there." (on
the real day!)
Wrapping up the Esquire interview,
Holland gushed about his beautiful
new wife: “So, for me, I found my
person. She’s my best friend,
and I’m the happiest I have
ever been when I’m with
her, but I have also never
felt so supported and safe,
ever. Period.”
Baby rumours have
been quick to surface too
but as was with the fake, AI
generated wedding snaps,
none have been confirmed
by the couple.
